pro ana fasting tips


  • on the day you plan to fast, make a to do list, with chores such as laundry and doing the dishes
  • before the fasting day, make sure you have all your supplies
    • sugar free gum
    • diet soda
    • caffeine pills/coffee (coffee also works like a laxative in some people, and a diuretic in others)
    • bouillon cubes
    • water bottles, drink mixes, juice
  • things to do when you get hungry and might binge
    • drink a diet soda and tell yourself it's a meal
    • pinch your fat
    • drink a glass of water very quickly. chug it.
    • smoke a cigarette if you are already a smoker
    • take a nap
    • play a card game or other game
    • go online and look at thinspo
    • clean something
    • brush your teeth
    • watch documentaries about EDs or supersize vs superskinny
    • put on a small t shirt to remind yourself of why you're doing this
    • look at the clock. tell yourself you have 25 minutes before you eat. after that 25 minutes is up, drink water and give yourself another 25 minutes. if you're still hungry after that, too bad.
    •   If you are craving a specific food, Google “Fat person eating _____.” If you don’t find a good enough image try, “Most disgusting ______.” The goal being to lessen the craving by either drawing a parallel from the food to rapid fat gain, or just by making it look as unappealing as possible.
  • Always have a diet soda, bottled water, tea, chewing gum (5 cal/piece), or coffee with you when you are away from the house in case you get hungry or feel faint due to low blood sugar.
  • always ALWAYS keep glucose tablets or juice, or some other form of sugar with you when you go out in case your blood sugar drops
  • watch food inc or supersize me
  • write words like "beauty" and "zero" on your wrist in a language nobody can understand. my favorite is klingon.
